Village Stone – Split Face Veneer CMU
Village Stone – Split Face Veneer CMU
Village Stone, also known as Split Face Veneer, brings a rough, natural stone texture to architectural concrete masonry.
Village Stone is a veneer architectural concrete masonry unit (CMU) with a rough, stone-like texture on the face. The texture is created during manufacturing by molding two units together face-to-face, then mechanically splitting them apart after curing — exposing the interior aggregates and producing an irregular, natural stone appearance. Village Stone is a non load bearing split face veneer CMU that can be produced in a wide variety of colors and unique aggregate combinations. Village Stone is an excellent choice when competing with clay brick; especially when it comes to oversize brick such as a “Norman” size. Village Stone is extremely cost effective and can be manufactured quickly; this is a tremendous advantage over clay brick which typically has a very long lead time for production.
