Split Face Block – Architectural Concrete Masonry Units (CMU)
Split Face Block: Architectural Concrete Masonry Units
Split face block is a load-bearing architectural CMU conforming to ASTM C90, available in 60+ integral colors and nominal widths from 4″ to 12″. Manufactured in Michigan for commercial, institutional, and architectural projects.
Split face block is an architectural concrete masonry unit (CMU) with a rough, stone-like texture on one or more faces. The texture is created during manufacturing by molding two units together face-to-face, then mechanically splitting them apart after curing — exposing the interior aggregates and producing an irregular, natural stone appearance. Also known as splitface CMU, these units serve as both the structural wall and the finished facade in commercial buildings. Split Face Block Color Selection

Physical samples are recommended for accurate color matching.
